I just returned from a media luncheon with Diana DeGette. Also in attendance, johne and TakeBackTheHouse from SquareState (which is inconveniently down right now); the intrepid Erin from Colorado Confidential (shown taking notes in this photo); and writers from various media outlets including NPR, La Voz, Clear Channel, The Denver Business Journal, and The Colorado Statesman. Me, I was writing up the 208 commission's latest communications meeting for Health Care for All Colorado and then for Ave Cassandra.
Why doesn't Diana DeGette support John Conyer's single-payer bill, HB676?
I can't remember discussion of Conyers' bill. But she spoke a lot about fully funding the State Childrens Health Insurance Program.
