Bill Ritter vs. Bob Beauprez: Five things I'm thinking
1. During last night's debate, Both Ways Bob Beauprez couldn't remember whether he voted to cut funding for Community Oriented Policing Services. To help him out, I'd like to point out that he did.
2. Even Beauprez's supporters are getting behind Bill Ritter. The Greater Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce endorsed Beauprez, but sent $1,000 to Bill Ritter and congratulated him on "a well-run, effective, message-based campaign."
3. Today, Colorado Pols reported Beauprez pumped another $20,000 of his own money into his own campaign, bringing the grand total to $305,000. Where did Beauprez learn this sort of runaway spending? Congress, where he has continually approved Bush's astronomical deficits.
