College Republicans try to out-stupid each other

Not too long ago, some Mesa State college Republicans tried to get hitched to their goldfish. I guess they were trying to say that gay marriage is wrong. But all they ended up proving is that you can't craft political theater while doing tequila shooters.

Unfortunately, their friends at University of Colorado at Colorado Springs didn't get the message. The Colorado Springs Gazette reports that conservative students at UCCS held a Global Warming Beach Party yesterday. Their slogan? "Goodbye, polar ice. Hello, paradise."

One can only hope that they didn't get too badly sunburned.

Jay Marvin had a great idea a couple of days ago, and frankly this is something that I and I'm sure many others have thought of: Next time we get wind of another exhibition of base stupidity by the College Rape-ublicans on any campus, perhaps we can have a group there with military recruiting pamphlets or even alert the local recruiters themselves that there will be a gathering of able-bodied kids of age they may want to talk to. Then again, perhaps the reason these snot-nosed little bastards haven't already volunteered for Iraq or Afghanistan is that as officers, they know they'd get thier asses fragged in a hurry.

personally, the thought of losing this batch of kids to malignant melanoma doesn't bother me as much as it should . . . . .

Just heard Mesa State college Republicans are retaliating, apparently they are hosting a coat drive for the homeless, their eventual goal is to hold a large event where they give the coats away and promote global warming, in the hope that they won't have to help the cold homeless anymore. Not sure if these two groups are actually working together or are both just equally creative. :D
