Winter wins at Map Changers, scores Clark endorsement
The official results have yet to be posted, but a little birdy e-told me CD6 Democratic freight train Bill Winter has been declared the winner of Mark Warner's Map Changers. Score one for the Colorado netroots.
In other breaking news, Winter has been endorsed by General Wesley Clark:
"We need Bill in Congress because his perspective as a solider, teacher, coach and family man is much needed today in government. In voting for Bill, Coloradoans have an opportunity to turn things around now before it's too late. To change politics-as-usual, we have to vote for someone besides the usual politicians."
General Wesley K. Clark is a retired four-star general and served as the Supreme Allied Commander of Europe where he commanded NATO forces and directed Operation Allied Force in the Balkans, putting a stop to the ethnic cleansing by the Serbs.

Warner is obviously an arrogant prick who has a bunch of King for A Day contestants thinking that he is actually going to raise money for you. All that prick Warner wants to do is steal your, I repeat your donor list. How much money can Mark Warner raise for you?
All he can do is donate the max. Now if that worthless prick offered to spend $250,000 in an independent expenditure that would be something. Instead you WinterWarriors worked your ass off for not a damned thing. You get to invite your donors to give you money to see some egomaniac who has no chance of being elected President. But good luck you beat out nine other losers who have no chance of winning either

And to the winner of this race goes a fundraiser with a man who has proven he can raise big money in a hurry. You think he won't draw a crowd? You think any fundraiser he plans won't pull in major cash? Are you kidding or are you just bitter?
Besides what "middle of the road" said, getting the media to so much as mention a still largely unknown challenger is like pulling teeth. Name recognition, or rather the lack of it, is the biggest thing Winter has working against him and if a visit from Warner and other big shots gets him media coverage that's huge.
Anonymous, would you please let me in on your fundraising plan? Because if you have a better one, I'd love to know about it.
