17th and Lawrence: Part 3
On my way through the streets, I passed two white teenagers who were quite literally wrapped in an American flag. They were carrying a sign that said, "Where is the INS?" Seconds later, I saw a Hispanic family holding an American flag high over a carriage, using it to shield their baby from the sun.

I was very moved by the patriotism in yesterday's march. I loved seeing all of the American flags. After watching Lou Dobbs, you forget that so many of these immigrants appreciate America more than most legal Americans do!
