Veterans vs. Bob Beauprez

Republican candidate for governor Bob Beauprez received three student deferments. But he still felt comfortable parading in military gear in 2004. "We are calling on Mr. Beauprez to apologize for misleading us," said Vietnam vet Sergeant Jim Hudson.

According to Disabled American Veterans, Beauprez has the worst voting record of any Colorado congressperson.

If the insignia and patches on the flight suit are real, he should be in deep trouble.
What a maroon.
There should be a full showing of Bill Winter in his uniforms, legit wearing of uniforms!

Relax folks. There's pictures like this of every Member of Congress who's ever been invited to fly in an Air Force fighter, and the AF tries to invite everyone. Beauprez's been invited to Buckley a couple of times to experience first-hand the maneuverability of an F-16. Just makes sense that they'd lend him a flight suit (and a barf bag) first...

Either way, sure beats that Teletubbies outfit John Kerry put on last summer!

I love it. Real vets run, get smeared. Dodgers play dress up and the Right fawns over them.

Appearance over substance seems to win.

Thanks oh-so-much Madison Ave. pah
