Get behind lobby reform bill

I wrote about the importance of HB 1149 about five days ago. The lobby reform bill is coming up tomorrow. And, Mike Weissman, the Colorado Dems and Progress Now Action are asking people to get behind it. Read what the bill is about. And then call your congresspeople and tell them to support it. UPDATE: You can read about some of the fallout of the bill in the Rocky Mountain News. Including Repub. Repre. David Schultheis' confusing contention that cleaning up the lobbying system will convince the public that lobbyists are dirty. "This is one of a number of bills we get up here every year that implies we all are crooks," Schultheis said.
