The strange world of winners
Romanoff, Gordon, and all the other elected Dems in Colorado came out of yesterday's election with a new halo around their heads. Ditto the county parties, especially in Arapahoe County and other places where the voter rolls tend Republican.
And Mason Tvert of SAFER came out looking like some sort of political genius. A Karl Rove for the pleasantly stoned.
But what's odd is that the Republicans came out pretty well, too. All of them.
Holtzman's name recognition went from zero to 60 statewide. And he is now a martyr for disaffected small government types. Owens ressurected himself, essentially repositioning himself as a winning moderate with one referendum. And while Both Ways Bob seems to be trying to lose his party's nomination, voters will probably forget his waffling a year from now.
I guess it's true. With C, everybody wins.

Given that Romanoff had his editorial published side bu side with Owens, I would say he is the big winner. Suddenly, he is on par with the governor.
